Bookings of 6 Guests or less and Dining Pod Terms and Conditions

Terms

All reservations at Craft of tables of 6 or below, either provisional or confirmed, are made upon subject to the following terms & conditions and no variation thereof will be accepted unless agreed in writing with Craft. written confirmation or request to confirm a booking (via email or post), will confirm acceptance of Craft terms & conditions by all parties.

Interpretation

In these terms & conditions “craft” means Craft Dining Rooms ltd and/or Craft English Garden limited. the “client” means the person, firm or company making the booking with Craft. the interpretation of these terms is any booking made via our online booking system and/or via the telephone/email/social media channel or any other means of communication for tables of 6 or below and Dining pod Bookings. Please note all bookings of 7 or more, excluding our dining pods, are subject to alternative terms and conditions marked event and private dining terms and conditions within section 2 of this document.

Interpretation of clear days notice for the purpose of this document is a full day, therefore bookings cancelled for example the day before would be classified as after 1 clear days notice regardless of the time of the booking, the day of the booking and the day of cancellation are therefore not counted as a clear day.

Customers booking multiple smaller tables which total 7 or more covers will be considered booking under Crafts Large Table Bookings, Event and Private Dining Terms and Conditions

Dining Room, Bar or Garden Table Bookings

Bookings within Crafts Dining Room require a credit card to hold this table for all bookings , no charge will be applied to the card for cancellations/no show or drop in guest numbers up to 72 hrs notice,

Lunch

£10 per cover for cancellations/no show or drop in guest numbers for all guests dining prior to 17:00pm

Dinner

£10 per cover for cancellations/no show or drop in guest numbers made with 3 – 2 days clear’ notice for all guests dining from 17:00pm

£25 per cover for cancellations/no show or drop in guest numbers made within 2 – 1 days clear’ notice or all guests dining from 17:00pm

£50 per cover for cancellations/no show or drop in guest numbers made after 1 day clear’ notice. or all guests dining from 17:00pm

Pod Bookings

Pods bookings  require a credit card to secure the booking, no charge will be applied to the card there will be no charge – cancellations within 7 days’ notice, however a charge of equal to that of the minimum spend will be charged for all bookings cancelled/no shown for within 7 days or the scheduled booking.

All Pod Bookings operate a minimum spend as detailed on https://weare-craft.co.uk/dinning-pods/ all cancellation/no show and minimum spend costs are derived from the respective timeslot booked.

Maximum capacity of 8, Bookings of less than 8 can book however are subject to the same minimum spend levels, Guests wishing to seat more guests do so at there own risk and with no guarantee from the Craft that this can be accommodated,

Online bookings actioned by the client for more than 8 guests is not acceptance by Craft of a reservation of more than 8 guests.

Please note that in poor weather your booking will be relocated into the bar or dining room area

Special Event / Day Bookings

Special Guest Chef Nights – Full Cost of the Menu for any Cancellation

Valentines Day Wk End – 13th, 14th, 15th February / Mothering Sunday / Father Day / New Years Eve – Full Cost of the Menu for any Cancellation

Cancellations

Customers are encouraged to contact the restaurant should they wish to amend the date of booking rather than cancelling as any subsequent loss could be mitigated.

Guests who have booked and subsequently arrive but do not dine would be classified as a cancellation, this includes cancellations due to failure to advise of dietary requirements 48 hours in advance of the booking.

Management operate in there sole discretion to offer the guest the option to re-book with Craft within 28 days within our Dining Room where the full or part of the cancellation fee can be credited to that booking.

Right to Reallocate, Amend or Cancel

Craft reserves the right to move and/or relocate any booking to an alternative area/location, cancel or amend any booking.

Please note that in poor weather Pod bookings will be relocated into the bar or dining room area

Timings

We have a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your booked time.
We may contact you about this booking, so please ensure your email and phone number are up to date.

Your table will be booked for 1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 2;

2 hours for parties of up to 4; and all Pod Based Bookings

2 hours 30 minutes for parties of up to 6; except Pod Bookings

3 hours for parties of 7+. except Pod Bookings

Third Party Voucher Bookings

Craft reserves the right to move and/or relocate/amend any booking to an alternative area/location, cancel or amend any offer issued via a third party.

Bookings unless expressively specified can not be made direct with Craft via the phone or our online booking system.

All bookings unless otherwise advised  have to in all instances unless specified be booked direct with the third party, bookings made direct with Craft, without prior written authorisation on the voucher, will render any subsequent voucher invalid and the client will be liable for the full cost or subsequent cancellation charges as detailed in these terms and conditions.

Clients are restricted to one voucher booking per calendar year and Craft is unable to accept multiple separate vouchers for bookings beyond that advertised on the voucher.

The terms within this document are applicable to all voucher based guests and are supplementary to those within the voucher.

Large Table Bookings, Event and Private Dining Terms and Conditions

Terms

All event or large table  reservations at Craft Dining Rooms or Craft English garden, either provisional or confirmed, are made upon subject to the following terms & conditions and no variation thereof will be accepted unless agreed in writing with Craft. written confirmation or request to confirm a booking (via email or post), will confirm acceptance of Craft terms & conditions by all parties.

in these terms & conditions “craft” means Craft Dining Rooms ltd. the “client” means the person, firm or company making the booking with Craft. the interpretation of event is any booking made for table of 7 or more regardless of the method of booking.. Customers booking multiple smaller tables which total 7 or more covers will be considered booking under these terms

Confirmation & deposit

To confirm a booking the client is required to confirm the details of the booking via email this will also confirm the client’s acceptance to these terms & conditions. upon receipt of the email Craft may call to request the required deposit via credit or debit card. please note that Craft may opt to not request the deposit is pre-paid and may opt merely for a security holding confirmation or no pre deposit payment.

Please however note that should Craft not collect the deposit or credit card details this does not excuse the customer of the liability for any loss of deposit as a result of cancellation, the customer remains subject to all terms in this agreement from the date of confirmation of the booking. any deposit collected will be deducted from the final bill on the evening. deposit charges are: £50 per person or the confirmed menu price whichever is higher.

Cancellation

Once a booking has been confirmed the event may be cancelled within a specified period (outlined below), the amount of the agreed deposit may be charged as cancellation fee. no charge for cancellations within 60 days’ notice, less than 60 days’ notice, £25 per person or 50% of the confirmed menu price whichever is higher and less than 7 days’ notice, £50 per person or the confirmed menu price whichever is higher.

Numbers

the initial number of guests is required to confirm the booking confirmation of numbers for an event is required 30 days prior to the date of the event. if confirmation is not given, the client will be charged for the number of guests stated in the most recent correspondence. please note that any increases in numbers from the last notified and confirmed number need the expression permission of Craft and is subject to availability and capacity levels.

Menus & Wine list

The client is asked to choose from our beverage collection. bespoke menus and birthday cakes can be arranged upon request. all of the menus are based on seasonal availability. the wine list is subject to price and vintage changes throughout the year. all food and beverage choices must be made and submitted a minimum of 7 days’ notice in advance of the event. please note all dietary requirements need to be disclosed 7 days in advance of the event. please note that the client may supply their own wine subject to a corkage charge of £15 per bottle.

Pre-ordering & service charge

For parties of up to 12 guests: confirm menu & order on the night.

For parties of over 13 guests: confirm pre order menu 7 days prior to the event.

For parties of over 20 guests: confirm pre order menu 14 days prior to the event. with a limited menu option of 1 starter, Main Course and Dessert with vegetarian option

Exclusive use minimum spend & room hire

Craft does not operate a room hire fee. Craft operates a minimum spend of the menu £35.00 multiplied by the room minimum amount detailed in these terms. minimum spend only applies when the client requests exclusive use of the room(s)

Timings

All of Crafts areas operate during our licensable hours and each booking is for a period of 3 hours which commences at the confirmed time of booking. events are held for 15 minutes beyond the confirmed booking time. any late arrival beyond 15 minutes may result in the booking being cancelled. extension requests for longer periods can be requested at the time of initial confirmation

Entertainment

Craft must be informed upon confirmation of the booking of any additional entertainment or equipment that the client may wish to have in the room, and any decisions regarding said entertainment will be at the designated license holders discretion and subject to licensing laws.

Payment

Payment for a function must be made in full at the end of the event.

Craft does have the facility to create several bills or operate a ‘cash bar’ upon 28 days advanced request.

all major credit cards are accepted, excluding diners club. if you would like to pay by bacs or invoice, the full amount of your event is due no less than 7 days prior to your event. all pricing is inclusive of value added tax at the current rate is included in all prices.

Dining room including private dining room – minimum 52 – maximum 72

Terrace room – Minimum 20 – Maximum 36

Dining pod (4) – Minimum/Maximum 8

Garden – Minimum 43 – Maximum 54

Terrace and Garden Room – Minimum 63 – Maximum 90

Graft English Garden Exclusive Use including Pods – Minimum 87 – Maximum 114

Craft English garden and dining rooms full venue exclusive use – Minimum 139 – Maximum 186
